Bluff Woods Family Hike - St. Joseph, Missouri Family Photographer

Before this session I was constantly checking the weather. Spring is toying with our emotions here in northwest Missouri, but we got lucky! We were gifted with a beautiful day to explore a trail in the Bluff Woods. There were rocks that needed to be jumped on, creeks to climb over, and piggy back rides that had to happen. I love that during such a relaxed session I got to document Tara being nurturing and playful with Ezra, and Kellen being fun and helpful with him. It's really neat to see how much these parents care for their creative, active, (and totally silly) boy! One day Ezra won't need help making a sword out of sticks and grass. One day jumping from rock to rock won't seem like such a feat. And one day he will be too big to ride on his mom's back and his dad's shoulders.
